I am currently hitting a taylor made 300Ti 7.5 degree ( I know...old school) but I fear going from a titanium face to a steel face will cause me to lose length. I read reviews on a pro Hogan site that were all great of course. I need real reviews!!

I own a Ben Hogan CS-3 driver. It has the draw set up, and has allowed me to become much more consistent off the tee. I agree that it is not as long as some of the other drivers out there. It is also the straightest driver I have hit. Ask yourself, would you rather be 300 in the woods, or 280 down the middle?? The club is solidly built, with the Aldila NV-H shaft in stiff. It has a little higher trajectory, which I believe is the cause for some lack in distance. If I hit the ball cleanly, I can still put it out there close to the 300 mark. Overall, a great club. I got it on ebay for 63 bucks brand new shipped to my door. There really isn't a better deal. Hope this helps.

The best thing to do is try it yourself if you can, but if you can't you can read the good AND bad reviews about pretty much any golf equipment on the golf gear review website.

What you need to do is to review it yourself. Go to a golf store (Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, *****, etc.) and try it. Whether this, or any club, works for someone else does not affect how it will work for you.

Most golf stores have a return policy, so go try it out!
