I ask a question about Why 'FORE' is shouted when teeing off and instead of answering the question I get bombarded by people telling me When it is shouted!. Cant they just relax and answer the question?. I am not interested in Golf or its little quirks and customs but if I wanted to know When fore was shouted I would have said WHEN and not WHY. I was interested in the history of the word not the etiquette of the game.

8 big bertha irons, 4 big bertha woods (metals) and a putter included. An associate is going there next week and can buy these at a retail outlet at that price. They are absolutely authentic new Callaway.

I have played a par 3 course three times and two of the times I scored a 74, this is a par 54 course. Is a 74 on a 54 course horrible? The third time I did not keep score so I don't know what I got, it was terribly windy that day and the fairways are small on that course so... i'm figuring I scored in the high or mid 80's...
Thanks for all the answers,

1) Many people say that hitting a driver is the "hardest" shot in golf, is it really?
2) Can you hit you'r driver off the ground?, If so how far?, What degree is you'r driver?
3) I personally own a 8.5 degree driver and I can hit it decently well off the ground between 150 and 200 yards, is this good? Should a 8.5 degree driver be harder to hit then a 10 degree driver?

Please answer all of the questions on this post, there is not really a "Best Answer" to this question so I probablly will not be choosing a best answer unless there is alot of good information in an answer.

Thanks for all the help, TigerWoodsFan (TWF).

I want to work for a Golf Club Manufacturer. I have a business degree, and I'm working on my master's in business right now. I play golf a lot, but I'm not great. I want to know how hard it is to become a sales rep for one of these top company's. I think that would be something I would love to do.

I am just starting out in the game of golf and have officially played two rounds of 9 holes. I want to find some decently priced and decent clubs to practice and improve w/ and am in the process of trying to find a decent set of 3,5, 7 wood, 6-9 iron, pw,sw,putter. I need suggestions as far as good/bad brands. I really think I like using woods over irons from my very little experience. I am open to all suggestions/advice
