Just get your facts right. Golf courses do preserve open space. Would you rather have 1000 homes on the ground a golf course is on? Provide for a school at $10mm a clip for the people who would move there? Roads? Etc.
Or keep it open with, say, a golf course.
As for water, good point. Except that most courses are friendly. That is, they use recycled water, special non-toxic chemicals, etc.

Nope. golfing classes are captivating patches of land which would be enjoyed by using golfers and passer-byers. extra appropriate than a race song or yet another wal-mart. golfing classes in a small city generate large gross revenues for that city by way of fact of severe vegetables expenditures (fee to play) or by using merchandising tourism. thousands of thousands flock to Hawaii purely for the golfing
