FIFA World Cup (TM) - September 2006

[Selected]: All categories Sports Football FIFA World Cup (TM)

I've read many articles about violence and I've noticed that most of it is in Europe.
Am I correct to say this?
What are your thoughts?

So glad you decided to ignore jerks like Romanis and Co and decided to come back.
As you probably read from the answers to his pointless question, you have a lot of support here in this forum, from Italy and France supporters alike.

Well done Touzours - for being a gentleman and defending Juventina's honour.

My Brother-N-Law is a huge fan but he is also a huge guy - Can't seem to find a website that sells his size? Looking of for a website with a large selection for XXL Size Guys.

Please only answer if you know and follow football cos' if u tuned in just for the world cup you opinion means nothing!

Did the new strictness of referees ruin the world cup. for example players where being sent off for barely touching players during tackles. shouldnt referee disgretion become more frequent allow a game to flow more when appropriate and players punished when neccassary rather when a rule was "technically" broken???

also did the play acting/diving of teams with another skill to be able play fairly and still win annoy anyone as much as me, i.e. italy, france, brazil, argentina etc

Yes, they can win few insignificant games, but when it really counts... they cannot win! Like in the World Cup, where ITALY triumphed and now they are the WORLD CHAMPIONS.

On one of my previous questions, I asked who would win between Saudi Arabia and Japan. People answered "Japan", but they were all wrong. The Saudis now have the highest points in their group to qualify for next year's Asian Cup.

Italy will crush any team that they play against. Italy will win it no doubt about it. As for the next game that they have against France the result will be 2-0 for the Italians. Forza Italia.

Well come on then, MAKE YOURSELVES HEARD!!!

It's getting pretty boring in here now with all the insults flying around between Italy and France supporters.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll follow the examples set by Lady_Starlight and Juventina and leave this forum as well.

After all it was just a draw and not a loss. C'mon, I know that they called us everything from frogs to b.itches to crybabies but I think we should act like mature ppl and not tease them. It's simply not nice to celebrate another teams loss(even though the temptation is hard to resist). Infact I think a few Italian fans(Juventina and R035) are actualy pretty nice. We should be celebrating France's win.
p.s. Heartfelt Consolations to the Italians( i am not teasing you). If i have provoked or offended your feelings after the loss i beg your pardon. But you sure must understand that we have just felt as miserable as u feel now. So plz lets try mutual understanding and not violence or hatred. But still:
VIVE LA FRANCE and im nuts. lol lol lol
