Yes, they can win few insignificant games, but when it really counts... they cannot win! Like in the World Cup, where ITALY triumphed and now they are the WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Thanks to ALL for telling me they won a (miserable) WC in 1988 and Euro 2000. I did not know. I don' t know anything about football.

Very true.
The French have been very sore losers, blaming Materazzi for their World Cup loss.
Truth of the matter is, Zinedine "Huge Head" Zidane should've kept his cool. I still think they would've lost anyway, even if he were there for the PK's.

Also, to answer your question the FRench team is changing... As in they have older players that are losing their talent... Though they still have a hell of a lot left in them, and younger players who are less experienced... In a few years France will be kicking *** again.

it doesn't mean though, that they are not a talented team, because they sure are one. you don't have to win to proove to the world that you are good and strong. france has proved to us that they are a good and competitive team, and they showed that by competing with the WC champs. that's got to show for something...just because they haven't won recently, that does not mean that they're not a team to beat.

ummm YES they do win sometimes.... it was just italy's luck to win this last world cup. And i also think if Zidane (an awesome football player) didn't get that red card they would have won... they gave the red card to the best guy on their team...the caption...so yea...and its not like france doesnt win any games... they won in 98...zidane was even gonna get the best football player award thing..

So all of you that say that they won ONE euro and ONE world cup is AMAZING... that is only 2 major tournaments and how many have Italy won?? too many i lost count.... wow i am soo envious of one world cup victory(home soil, coincidence - i think not) and one euro... who cares, we have 4 Stars and that is 3 more than France... need me say more??
