Not sure, probably cause their only REALLY good player is gone and went out so classlessy, so they have to blame it on the italians!!! Oh well, we dont have to care what any of them say... we have 3 more world cup titles than them and that proves it.... qualifying matches dont prove how good you are, its the important games that count and that is the kind of team that italy is... they perform when it matters

Coz we desrved to win while ur team of Italy cheats derserve to rot in the gutter.Yeh we did lose the WC trophy .But we won the love and respect of all true football lovers.We won the game of moral values.U can keep the WC trophy coz its glory is tainted by Matarazzi's foolish acts.If u call the way u won the WC 2006 winning, then I 'd rather lose.I'm proud that the french team played with dignity and honour.Its such a shame to win the way u won .

Why do a few Italian supporters realise that they drew a match to a country like Lithuania(if im not mistaken is ranked #66 in the world)? No offence but look man many of us feel it was unfair \. But i will admit that ITALY DID WIN THE WC. but shouldnt we all stop dwelling in the past(although we should respect it) and focus on the present(right now-Euro2006). In fact most French fans know that Italy are wc champions. Some of us are in denial just like some of ure fans are in denial abt the draw with Lithuania. Atleast France got to the finals with an ageing team and then lost a very tight match to a major footballing nation like Italy(sigh). And yeah Lithuania, we all know its position in the footballing world. lol. i dont hate u so dont hate me.
