Italy - Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) chief Franco Carraro resigned when wiretaps were revealed discussing referee selection with the official who used to appoint them.

Czech Republic - Over 24 football officials and referees have been suspended, fined or both in bribery cases

Columbia - Former referee revealed he had tried to bribe a match official to swing the result of a game

Germany must win !!

Because:

1. Home advance; hugely underestimated !!
2. If Italy wins, or even worse, the world cup, the football community should be ashamde of themselves:

I for one will stop watching footbal, if this dreadful accident should occur......................

(For those of you who don't agree, please tell me why, or are you missing those horrific attacks from italian players (not all of them, thank god for that), to get other players invalid.......)

If this is the meaning of "fair play" than I do know what these words mean.......................

The so called pundits were predicting an Argentina v Brazil final, but they both went out in the QF's.

Of course the British biased, manipulating press is hiding this but lots of English were taken to jail in Gelsenkirchen because the threw stones and cans of beers to the Portuguese inlcuding women and CHIDREN. I wish they'd rot in jail. When will you grow up and learn to accept defeat? Or is your superiority complex so big that you just think you can't ever lose?? Grow up and stop being jerks. Really, I know the majority of the English people are not like this but this is so disgusting, you all get your image damaged by those bastards.
