Needless to say that the British press called Rooney a clown, not CR. If you're looking for an escape goat then look at the team that lost fairly, not at the players that just did what they are paid to do. If someone should take the fall is Rooney and Erickson who tried so hard to take the games into penalties and not finish it off sooner.
And they even tried to shame it on Beckam who left in injury... now that's low...
Just my 2 cents.

The #1 most painful thing that could happen to C. Ronaldo is for ManU to trade Rueney to Real Madrid (where Ronaldo want to go) and keep Ronaldo on a loser team that haven't won for 4 years.
#2 would be to send C. Ronaldo to the Glazers other team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a kicker, and watch the step-over queen get hit by real men.

As much as it pains me to say, Ronaldo (the poor portuguese imitation one) was marginally at fault for his wind up antics. But having said that,mr rooney proved again that he cant control his temper in the face of such an arrogant little **** winding him up. Be honest, they play together all the time so he must know all about his volatile temper. There is no excuse for either one's reactions, from rooney's thuggish testicular assault to "nudge nudge wink wink" Ronaldo,who has an even worse centre of gravity than Robert Pires.
In truth, I would like to hear the comments of 1 man about all this. A certain Ruud van Nistelrooy who must have been on the fone to Alex saying "See, I told you he was a cocky little ****,not me,boss".
It will be very interesting to see how they are both received not only at Premiership grounds round the country but by the Old Trafford fans too. Guess we dont have too long to wait for the answer.

Ronaldo did nothing wrong. Get over it and stop looking for scapegoats. England sucked. Their fans were great (apart from a few nutters) and they deserve better. Look at the players, they should have delivered more. The English Press need to take some responsibility for their irrational reporting.

The problem is thugs like Rooney stomping on people for no good reason not Ronaldo but I guess because he is the great "hope" of England he can act however he wants with no deserved punishment

I've got some very good and definately inhumane fantasies about that but I will probably get reported for telling them so I won't. Ronaldo, Figo and Scolari suck big time.

The best way is not to let him provoke you by either ignoring him etc, of inhuma way i will not say, as I like fairness in football and not infairness, whoever the player will be

I think someone needs to see a professional about their football obsession. Come on, it was 2days ago now, get over it! They had no real chance of winning anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I like football, and watched every England game. I just don't agree with all the hype a petty little game can get. If you get this worked up about it, then you clearly don't have much to worry about in your life!

tie him down on a bed of bamboo seed, bamboo grows pretty quick and is very sharp. japanese used it in ww2 camps. then get a pair of pliers and remove all his finger and toe nails rubbing salty water into the wounds. nail his testicles to the floor and ram a knitting needle down his jabs eye. cover him in jam and release thousands of pissed off english wasps into the room
