I'd like to conduct research on the World cup games and am looking for match records / transcripts / archives that are essentially the text recordings of the matches.

Aside from taping the match, and tabulating the match myself, does data exist on the internet where the matches are recorded to the detail of : 01:00 Player X passes ball to Player Y / 01:01 Player Y shoots but misses goal / etc.?

The closest I've seen were minute by minute records, but even these do not have the level of granularity that I'm hoping might exist somewhere. . . I've heard sports statisticians record games move by move, and then check it with the playbacks, but is that data I could access somehow?

Thanks!

I think Italy and Portugal were very entertaining to watch, as well as Argentina and Ghana...what do you think?

My favourite World Cup was Italia '90, but I was only 10 at the time. I liked USA '94 as well. This world cup has not excited me as much as I thought it would. Am I just getting old or has it really been a poor quality world cup?

I for one am a big fan of Italy, I'm hoping and wishing that they will win the worldcup, it would be just simply amazing!!!
But then I'm just thinking about it, and well..... everyone will diss the Italians! ( excluding the fans obviously)
If they win, it'll be because they paid the refs at some point, or because the refs weren't beeing fair... basically they won't deserve their win and beating the French!
Too many sore losers, therefor if Italy wins, it'll be an unfair/ a dirty win... Why can't people stop saying that Italians are fakers and whatever the heck they're saying! If they're there it's because they've simply made it that far and they've been playing well........ Yes they've been lucky at some points, just like any other team. As for the diving or them faking, I mean look at other teams, it's a part of it.

The world cup is becoming somewhat unpleasant as some people won't accept the fact that Italians have made it that far!
GET OVER IT OR GET LOST!!!!
Forza Italia

Seriously I am not interested in talking about him being a "winker" or his status as England's public enemy #1, I just want to know if he is currently linked to anyone romantically. Thanks
