from what i seen the stadium plays the same song first ... just like at the beginning of the game when they are coming out of the tunnel. its kinda sounds like a bunch of people chanting in unison ... if that helps.

Your right it is Go West done by the Pet Shop Boys (thank-you Limewire)... I thought it was that... its a weird song to play.... but I guess its better then "We are the Champions" by Queen (might be too rude to the loosing team) or "We got the Power" by Warrent or how about "the winner takes it all" by Abba... (sorry these weird songs keep popping my my head)

Over the past four years I have watched Germany struggle and I sort of adopted this WW2 song as my German theme song, its called "Comin in on a wing and a prayer"... We were such a "one goal team" for a long time. such as we only had one goal in us so we better get it and defend defend defend... anyway let me quote the song

"Comin' in on a wing and a prayer
Thought there's one motor gone
We can still carry on
Comin' in on a wing and a prayer."

That's "Go west", originally played by Village People in the 70's.
Petshop Boys covered the song later, I think.
