Ive heard in many different places like in radio & tv that Lionel Messi could be the next Maradona. Do you guys agree? I personally think that it might be true.

I know that england, wales, scotland and northern ireland are all seperate soveirgn nations, but it is the UNITED kingdom.... why not have a UNITED football team instead of the four seperate teams.

I am a yank, this might be a stupid question, but i want to know.

Also, would a UK team be better for england, or would the team consist almost entirely of English players anyway (i.e. basicly the same team as england has now).

everytime one of these guys gets hit they flop around on the ground like a fish. I like the sport but some the foreign stars are real sissy wimps.

It's a good thing that the organizers of the 2006 FIFA World Cup now bans stripping among players.

I am referring to the ones that are with the World Cup. Please dont get mad because I dont know this answer, I just dont have a clue, if you can tell me what they stand for and why sometimes they are used like " The FIFA World Cup" and other times it just says "The World Cup", I would really be grateful.

I live in Canada. We don't have a soccer team in the World Cup, so we just cheer for our native countries. Does the same thing happen in your country? For example, do you Americans cheer for the American team, or do you cheer for the country where your family history is?
