I don't think Argentina can be in anyway compared with the class and might of Brazil. After all....Argentina won the world cup only two times as compared to Brazil who won "5" five times that is. Argentina won their first world cup in 1978 in "Argentina" "at home" which was the most controversial world cup as some people belive Argentina cheated their way to win the cup. And the last time they won was in 1986 which was also controversial as Maradona used his hand to score. I wonder what might have happened if that Goal was disallowed. And by the way, why do Argentine footballers always behave aggressively towards others? Why can't they maintain the spirit of fair play like Brasilian footballers!!!!! Not to forget, Maradona used to take drugs ( which again may be the reason why he played well sometimes.)

USA should stay their nose out of Football. This is probably the only sports that has kept its dignity but its dignity is now threatened if US keeps qualifying in the World Cups. It is making mockery of Football when the Americans run on the field with a football. Its like bunch of sissies running for the beauty pageant.It casts a shadow over the joyful spirits of watching a football game when the Americans are playing it. It is also pretty awkard when you hear Americans commenting on Football. I do not know how to react when they talk about Football. It sucked to listen to the commentry on Espn by some American comentators.They don't even call football by its proper name which they call "Soccer." What the heck is that? Any thoughts ?

I'm sorry, while watching the world cup this is actually a question a friend asked me and I know nothing about France, but I know my stereotype of French people is that they would be white. For instance, I understand that in America we have say basketball teams that are mainly african american, just because well.. let's face it, white men can't jump and they're mainly better at it. So I'm just wondering if this is why France's team was mostly black (african?). Yes I'm actually asking this question and I know I will get flamed by some people for whatever stupid reason. Trying to bridge my gaps of knowledge. I had no answer to this question for my friend, so please free me of my ignorance.
