Well I think the hearing is on the 19th though I could be wrong. I am sure we will here the outcome by the end of the week. They should BOTH be answerable. I still am not confident that the entire proof will evolve nor the entire truth be told. Trash talk is acceptable to most and happens in every sport, however if the comments transcended this line of acceptability, whether it was racist or not, it needs also to be dealt with. Guess we wait!

Hi!
The hearing with both players is on the 20th.
Later that same day (this thursday) FIFA should pronounce a veredict.
For Zidane, it could mean the withdrawal of his Golden Ball (which would go to Fabio Cannavaro). For Materazzi, it could involve a fine and a penalty.
Both have already testified separately.

Goodluck!

Nothing final has been determined yet. FIFA has already interviewed Materazzi about the incident (last week) and are scheduled to speak with Zidane this Thursday. Watch for an announcement sometime after that.

they keep saying that they might take away zidanes golden ball and if they find out 100% sure that materazzi said something racist, they wont count his goal and therefor italia would lose the final. but nothing has happened yet.

I don't know, but that bum should never be allowed to be associated with the game of Soccer (or Football) ever again. No class...
