Other than a free trip for the players, no vets really want to go. Last year I suggested how about changing it to a rookie and second year player game. Let all the rookies go and play and see some of the players you never get to see during the season. The name brand star players never show up with their game anyways. Either change it or drop it. Also, how many viewers actually watch it? WAY WAY less every year,

Newspaper reports in Oakland have surfaced detailing an impromtu meeting between Al Davis and John Madden. Inside sources confirmed that Davis is still impressed with Madden's expert knowledge of the NFL and offered him the head coaching job. Apparently the nostalgic Al Davis still cherishes the glory years of Madden's first stint with the Raiders.

Do you think Madden should give in to Al Davis and accept the job or continue with his broadcasting?

nfl on fox and e.s.p.n both stated the team you do not want to face this year if they get to the playoffs is cleveland..why do you think?

i say its because our defense is starting to show up..our offense has been good all year and our special teams is awesome. the "D" is starting to play good now. your thoughts?

MVP stands for Most Valuable Player. If you took Brady out of the Patriots and replaced him with Eli Manning they would still probably win their division. If you took Farve away from the Packers and replaced him with Eli Manning They would most likely end up with 4 or 5 wins. Who then is more valuable to their team. Mvp Is an award to celebrate individual achievment not team record here are the current totals for key stats
passing yards F-3905 B-4235
touchdowns F-26 B-45
rating F-97.7 B- 119.7
interceptions F-13 B-6
Even with lower numbers Favre has a team that is the youngest average age in the NFL Most starters have been in the league less than three years. Brady on the other hand has a team that is far superior in both skill and experience so by logic he should have better numbers. plus he also has randy moss who accounts for 1343 yards and 19 touchdowns by himself. take him away and Where would Brady be.
Mvp is stats and impact to the team

Christian Bobby Bowden and Florida State managed to produce 28 cheaters on their football team this year topping the record Bob Stoops set 2 years ago when 15 players at Oklahoma were nailed for cheating by accepting money for work not done.

Top crooked football programs in america:

Every week I see CNNSI.com post pics of NFL cheerleaders and at first glance you get all happy but "after further review" you start to see things aren't as good as you think.

What happened to the days of having cheerleaders that were just purely hot? Now they need to have goals and aspirations... why do I care about that?

If I had to vote right now I'd say it's between San Diego and Dallas.

Whats the deal with Georgia not getting any respect? does lsu pay the BCS to pick them year in and year out? something just doesnt add up i mean Georgia was better than lsu. they proved that so shouldnt they play someone in the bcs title game and not have to be at the bottom of the barrell and fish for it all like rotten ancestory slaves had too??? LSU bought there way into the BCS title game.. and OSU doesnt deserve it either... i mean hawia has a great season. thatd been good georgia and hawia BCS title game huh?

This is a question that requires a little more thought than just, "David Garrard got hosed! He had a great year, and should be in the Pro Bowl!" If you think a player should have gotten elected to go to the Pro Bowl, tell me who's place they should take, and provide reasoning.

Now he seeks not to pay it. What do you think will happen in the courts? Who will pay because someone will be paying even if they have to sell the debt to a collection agency. Did Hot Rod allow a lose at Pitt.s and few small things to set him off and hurt his Career I mean Mich. is not a loyal school to coaches?

If Garrett is on the market, he is as good as gone. Jerry Jones better be smart enough to see that.
Parcell's first call will be to Jason Garrett.
Parcell's will be announcing he is accepting VP deal today.

I posted a question making fun of the arrogance of Patriots fans and several responses insinuated that Cowboys fans are more arrogant. That's not the impression I get from reading their replies here, but I'll put it up for a vote. Who do you think are more arrogant?

There are some stats that get people into pro bowls, and people tend to weigh them heavier than they are worth. For instance, a DE who gets 14 sacks on the season, but is run over or caught out of position regularly will make it in over a guy who is a good against the run, eats up two blockers, and stays in position (which is more important to a defense).

What is the most overrated stat in football?

What to doooo... What to dooooo...

The Patriots have the Dolphins this week.. and I think were finally going to see the fall of the BOSTONIANS!!! Dolphins are going to slide through the 1st half, and then dominate the second has Cleo emerges as a born leader...

Brady is DUE for a bad game, and has been falling off as of late anyways. Look @ that last game vs the Jets.. HORRIBLE.. Stats were down, flunked on his fantasy peeps! Brady let down the nation... (worse than Westbrook)

So I figure.. Miami 35, New England 17...

Who thinks I'm right? I'm thinking of driving to Vegas and droppin my house note on it...

Anyone agree?
