Randy Moss was supposed to go to Green Bay at the beginning of the season... if that would have happend, you wouldnt even be hearing about Tom Brady this year.
Yeah hes a good quarterback, but if you switch spots with Brett this year, how well do you think Brady, Marino, Manning, or anyone for that matter would have done with what the Brett has done with the packers.
What other quarterback in history is attached to a team as well as Brett is?.....(waiting).... nobody... thats right...
Brett Favre is THE BEST QUARTERBACK ever.... not because of stats, but just for his love of the game.... who else gets up after a sack and comes to the line smiling.... NOBODY...... Who else has faith in his receiver core like Brett does? NOBODY
My rant is over... There has been alot of great quarterbacks over the years... but people will remember and still be talking about Brett long after Brady has been forgotten.

Well, let's compare how many championships they each have... It's too subjective to say who is the better QB. Honestly, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is who won the superbowl. This is a team game, not a game of individuals. You could put the best QBs behind an awful offensive line, and they're going to look like Eli Manning. You could put Eli Manning behind an awesome offensive line and he's going to look like Dan Marino. Next, you could have an awesome QB throwing perfect passes, but if the receivers are not catching them, then it doesn't matter. Bottom line is that both of these teams, and lets face it, you can't have this conversation without also bringing up Peyton Manning.... All three of these QBs have incredible offensive lines in front of them, and they ALL have solid, if not OUTSTANDING wide receivers to throw the ball to. They are ALL part of great offensive teams.
I'm a HUGE Patriots fan and I have the man-crush on Tom Brady, but if he didn't have the offensive line in front of him that he has, then he wouldn't have the success that he's had. Before Tom Brady came in, Brett Favre was my favorite QB. I can't stand watching Peyton Manning blame his team whenever he has a bad game, but you can't argue that he's one of the most talented QBs of all time. In a couple of years we'll be adding Tony Romo and possibly Derek Anderson to this arguement. I bet if you took Eli Manning and switched places with his brother, you'd see a HUGE difference in what each of them do. I'm not saying the Eli would be as productive as Peyton, BUT we wouldn't be laughing at Eli and kneeling at the altar of peyton.
It's a team sport, the QB is only 1 out of 11.

Old School....what do you mean he will be the most accomplished QB of all time? Is this because he will have 4 Super Bowls??....because I know a few QBs that won 4 Superbowls. I can think of one person that won 4 in six years (Terry Bradshaw), whereas Brady will have won 4 in 7.
But back to Brady-Favre. Until Brady holds every record ever, Favre will always be the better QB.

Brett Farve is a good QB when it comes to running play, but reading the defense and picking what plays works, Tom Brady tops him ten folds.
Any QB who runs the ball in the middle at 3rd-and-1 makes me curse them for their stupidity. And seeing that play picked by someone who suppose to be playing QB longer than others just astounds me.

the legendary Brett Favre. If he was blessed with a great "team" around him like Brady has, he would have multiple rings.

It's way too soon to be answering that question. Brady has never had to play behind a mediocre team. But his chance is coming. With all the stars on the Pats that will be leaving due to salary cap issues. Brady will get to play in a less than desirable situation. See how he does then. Let's see if he can come close to 16 years. Revisit this question in 5 to 10 years, and you'll have a different answer.
