The D is starting to get penetration, the secondary is actually batting down passes and not allowing completions.
The offense has a nice selection of weapons that have managed to stay healthy. Winslow Jr is the best tight end in the league.
Jamal Lewis has taken the reigns and really leads the offense late in the games when they need to win. Its fun to watch now. Tucker had to sit out the first 4 games, due to testing positive for roids, but he is an awesome lineman. Hes solidifying that line nicely.
Although, they still have the "cardiac kids" syndrome where teams often get a chance to tie things up with them. Like in the snow bowl (wasn't that a great game) buffalo began to ramble down the field, a td and they go for it, and its a tie game. Luckily, that didn't happen :) And wasn't phil dawsons FG from 49 yards the most awesome kick of the year, besides that one that mystified the ravens? hahahaha, I love seeing the ravens get crushed.
The browns really should of beat pittsburgh that last time. The inadvertent holding penalty on the kickoff return took them out of FG range and cost them the game. Pittsburgh is fizzling out in this late season dash.
Sometimes Anderson scares me and I wonder what the year would of been like with Brady Quinn in there. I hope they can hold onto him so we get to see him in his glory :)
GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because they are the sleeper team. Nobody expects them to be good, and if they are in the playoffs, they will be overlooked. Especially since ESPN only covers the Pats and Tony Homo, they probably won't even mention Cleveland once playoffs roll around. But Cleveland could be anybody.
I think the only team that would really be ready for them would be Pittsburgh, since they play each other twice a year. I think Cleveland has a better chance of going into SD and beating the Chargers than they do of going into Pittsburgh and winning. Also, I think Pittsburgh has a better chance of beating Jax than Cleveland since the Steelers are out for revenge with Jax...and cleveland will be out for revenge if they come to Pittsburgh. But I don't think any of those teams matter, because (I hate to say this) the Pats are gonna run the boards in the Playoffs.

The Browns are decent. They are not great, they CAN beat Pittsburg and San Diego, Im not saying they WILL but they CAN. Jax is the team that I think really would deserve that title, Jax has a good defense and a quarterback who does not make mistakes.
What it all boils down to in the playoffs this season can the team win at New England. I dont think any of the AFC playoff teams have a good chance, but the Browns and steelers at least play in the conditions so they will be acclimated.

I don't think the D is looking great, but they have improved since the beginning of the season. #54...can't remember his name to save my life....has big plays almost every game. I just don't know if it's actually the defense that will have other teams running scared. The offense, the drive, the passion and the kickers are the strong elements of the team.
Personally, I think they should be at least 11-3 instead of 9-5. (Arizona and Oakland should have been Ws).
