Should be a really interesting matchup, pretty close one in my eyes. What do you all think?

The only difference between a so called prossional and your own picks is discipline..if they even really play the games they pick.

Some guys win a couple of games more than they lose for a season and call it a succesful season. This is because they have huge bankrolls, and they bet large amounts on less games.

Pick your own games. You can pick them. u just can't force them. Thats another basic difference. A handicapper might only play 1 or 2 games on a football weekend, whereas the "amateur" will play every game thats on TV, and chase their money if they lose their first game.

so it's not the picks gang. you;d be surprised how well you could do if you were extremely selective.

i will say this though...avoid handicappers who have a pick on every big game there is. These guys will put up anything because they know people will want a pick for a big TV game.

Master selectivity, money management, and discipline, and you will match any pro's pick

I think the colts will win, solely because Andre Johnson is not playing. If he were to play the texans would win.

The NC/USF game has been fun to watch, but all the really interesting games seem to be later today.

FYI - Once the game "starts" with kick-off I will take a tally of who answered and scores provided. I will then post who the last person is and NOT accept any answers beyond THAT person and advise you ALL of this with an update. Additionally, if two people on the winning team have the same score I will then use the criteria of who came closest with the score on the losing team. If that leads to a tie then I will have to choose the person who chose the score first.
Example: Two people choose 48 as the winning score for Team “A”. The final score reads 51 – 17. Person #1 chose 48 – 21; while Person #2 chose 48 – 23. The final score reads 51 – 22, person #1 wins because his/her score did NOT exceed “22”. If the scores are tied based on an exact similar guess then person #1 would win first because he/she answered first.

YOU HAVE UNTIL KICK OFF TIME TO CHANGE YOUR SCORES. AFTER I TAKE MY TALLY AND YOU CHANGE YOUR SCORE DURING THE GAME YOU WILL BE OMITTED FROM CONSIDERATION.

Who would they do better with this season at quarterback in your opinion?

The best team of the past 5 years of football, considered by some to be a dynasty has gotten in trouble for CHEATING in the NFL. Now that it has proven that it was not a level playing field, that the reason the colts have trouble beating the patriots is that the pats defense knows what peyton's audibles mean... Doesn't it follow that all of those rings are now tainted? I mean, even the Giants might win some games if they knew exactly what was coming! I'm not saying they knew absolutely everything, but they sure as hell knew more than they deserved to, they outright cheated at the highest level of competition in sports. That's worse than steroids, it's an entire team thing. I'm curious what you guys think.

Navy has lost 43 times in a row to Notre Dame.

If Navy could get the win, it would be the game of the ages, it would forever live in football lore, and Navy lore. The MVP will probably become an admiral.

What are the chances?
