Notre Dame, not only this year but for many years they've been overrated. Thy're caught in the past and really have no offense or defense anymore. Itseems like they'ver forgotten the fundamentals, and a pee-wee football knows how to hike the ball to the quarterback and ND doesnt
edit: about Scratchy_Joe - I'd say USC is alittle overated but dont put all of the Pac-10 in that section. What about CAL - they have the best, yes the best, WR in the nation in Desean Jackson and they're a really good team. Also they dominated Tennessee who is in the SEC right?

I think Virginia Tech is the most overrated team in the last 15 years. They had one good team that didnt win it all. Two player have ever came out of there ... Suggs and Vick. Ones on a bench the others on a bench in jail. The conference is not what it once was. They just uh.... i guess they are like Ohio State and play powder puff for wins, but other than this year at least OSU schedules a Texas, Oklahoma, or USC. Yeah I say VT!

Notre Dame has been overrated for about 10 years now with quinn and without him never should have been ranked. USC(south carolina) is another team thast overranked, Spurrier doesnt throw or a catch a pass or run the ball. Louisville, I honestly think half of the top 25 maybe more is overrated

I have to say Ohio State. I'm not being biased but they just haven't shown me anything on offense. The defense has speed and puts pressure on the QB, but if you struggle to put points on the board, what good does that do you.
Actually, I'll say any team from the Big-10. The conference is incredibly old-school. Michigan can't stop anything that isn't a conventional offense, Wisconsin is missing help in the secondary, Penn State needs to develop a running game, Michigan State is going to pull a Michigan State because that's who they are, Iowa has to learn new snap counts with a new QB which will mess them up, and everyone else just plain sucks.

in football the sec. When teams play 4 or 5 conference games and don't fill in their schedule with top ranked teams, they really shouldn't even be compared with a team that has to play more than 2 or 3 tough games all year. These sec teams will remain healthier because of fluff scheduling in 5-7 of their games.

Wisconsin.
They are winning games close to teams they should be blowing out.
Well even though Penn State is my favorite team , for the moment, I will say we are overrated.
But that is only because we haven't played anybody worthy yet.
If we get passed Michigan, we will not be overrated.

i could bypass with Illinois being very underrated (no longer prepared on the Illini the two). upload the only group to beat them, Missouri, to the record of underrated communities. puffed up, precise now, could be South Florida (stable, yet no longer the #6 group interior the country), Wisconsin, and Hawaii. puffed up constantly are Penn State, Michigan, and Notre Dame.

Notre Dame.. who else can negotiate to have its own television rights with nbc.. they have not been good in decades but they are all over the news.. even when they won 10 games under weiss they got beat down by OSU in the bowl game.. although i do give them respect for actually scheduling talented programs..
