I have a number of jersyes, two authentic (panthers #85) and the rest NFL brand. The NFL brand I just wash in cold water and that works but over time the numbers are starting to fade/come off. For the authentic jerseys I found out where the local high school team sent theres and I take mine there too. It is a local dry cleaners, but I'm not sure what they do. Odd thing is the authentic ones don't have any directions.

Yep. I have authentic jerseys. Turn them inside out and wash them on cold, alone. Put it on a double spin cycle to get most of the moisture out. After coming out of the washer, put it on a flat surface and try to reshape it the best you can. Then hang in to drip dry. Mine always look great after doing it this way. Good luck.

Read the label in the back of it. Every fabric is different.
