Overrated? NO!! Underrated? YES!!! And I say that by everyone around the country. They are where they need to be in the polls at this point, because it's allways better to work your way toward a goal than to try to prove every week that you should be there. And they'll get there. Tough games against Wisconsin and Penn State will show the nonbelievers. The big ten is a little down this year, but look how many players they put into the draft. Look how many they consistently put into the draft.Ohio State has reloaded just fine. The number one defense going into week three will be number one again after the trouncing of Northwestern. Their only problem will be if something happens to Tod B. Their backup Q.B.'s don't have what it takes at this point, unless the rest of the team picks them up. My prediction, much to the dismay of the A.P. and ESPN, the BCS computers will have no choice but put them where they belong at years end.....Number 1!!!

While this team does have a lot in common with the '02 squad there are some things that suggest to me that they may have a better chance. First the Big Ten is down this year. Second I believe this D may be better than the '02 D. Third "Beanie" has talent as well as class which the backfield lacked the latter on the championship team.

All that said I am a realist as much as I am a Buckeye fan so I look closely at the Wisconsin, Penn State and yes even Michigan. The Wisconsin game should be won with the Vest alone against the new coach in Madison. Joe Pa always makes me wonder what he really has up his sleeve and I think this will be the "best" game of the season with an OT or special teams victory for the Scarlet and Gray. Finally Michigan, at this point in the season they could be playing for (don't laugh) the only goal they can obtain at this point, a Big Ten championship and auto-bid BCS bowl. That said this is Tressel and Lloyd... Buckeyes by 17 and off to the national championship.... hopefully Florida won't be there waiting.

Well it is an odd year in the big 10 some would say they are down from last year but I would disagree with that their tops teams have just moved around the only one that has stayed the same is Ohio State I bet they end up taking the big 10 but not going undefeated in conference play

Could be 2002 all over again, Tressel is at his best when he is lacking some talent and he has to play it close to the vest (sweater vest that is).

I hope it'll be 2002 all over again. They're a young team and they're rebuilding on offense.

only if they win at PSU. That will be a tough game for them. Look out for Michigan though. That Mallet kid is good. Unless LLLLLLLyod decides to screw things up they will be a tough game for the Bucks.
