Seriously, this is about as creepy as it gets. Pretty much every NFL player that has donned the cover of Madden has had awful awful things happen in the season following their cover. Truth or coincidence?

Here's the list of the jinxed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madden_curse

What do you think?

The Raiders have the #1 pick in the draft, and everyone thinks they will take JR. However, Lane Kiffen however sounds optimistic about developing Andrew Walter. Porter and Moss are both returning so they wouldn't be taking a WR, and I doubt they would take Thomas after their experience with Gallery. Al Davis never trades downs either so I don't see that happening. I don't see them taking a defensive player either since they've done that for the last few years and now their D is set. Will they take Russel? What do people think?

I think Betts is a more pure runner and is built for the NFC.. Clinton, althought a Pro Bowl RB is too small and has never been this injury prone. He never missed as many games in Denver as he did last year. I think Skins trade Portis in a package deal for either a 1st and a 3rd round pick or make a move for a vetern QB to back up Jason.. Collins and Brunell arent going to cut it...

Now that Norv is working with a team where he is not stuck with control freak meddlesome owners who won't let him coach without constant interference, will he produce better results??? The Chargers have lots of young talented players, unlike the Raiders and Skins who had a lot of old vets on their last legs. So, will the Chargers be in serious contention for a SuperBowl win in the upcoming season? Or should the Chargers have stuck with MartyBall? Signed, Raider Fan

If you could airlift one of these entire defenses, from 2006-07 season only, to your favorite team which one would you take? All players whether good or bad, or nothing.

I think he is one of the most underrated players in the NFL.
In terms of consistent performance, I think Driver was probably the BEST WR in the NFL this year. His stats were top-5 in catches, TDs and Yards, and he consistently produced and fought thru injuries. Who was better than Driver last year? Chad Johnson was VERY inconsistent (a couple of huge games), Tory Holt disappeared the second half of the season, Harrison was steady but didnt show up for the playoffs, T Owens was a drop machine, Steve Smith missed a few games, the list goes on.

Driver has a spindly frame and decent speed. What sets him apart is great hands and total fearlessness, which makes him victim of dozens of big hits every year.
Driver has made the most of marginal talent. He was probably the best WR in the NFL in 2006. He reminds me a bit of Art Monk in the mid 1980s, getting the dirty work done without acclaim.
Earlier today, 15 of 16 respondents for the top-8 receivers DID NOT list Driver.

Lovie Smith led the Bears to the Super Bowl as the lowest paid head coach in the NFL. Why aren't they showing Lovie the damn money? I think race very well could be a factor in this. They also didn't offer a contract to Ron Rivera who is a Latino and let him leave for a linebackers coach postion. There's something fishy going on in Chicago.
