It is possible but you need to fast. Usually if you are big and you play linebacker you should be full back running backs need to have at least a 4.5 forty time.

Definitely...I think that transition would natural. Coming off the corners, outside linebacker generally have explosive speed.
Speed and good ball handling along with the size of a linebacker would be great assets for a halfback. Especially on 3rd and short options.
Good Luck

You can do anything you want!!
Just go out and do everything your body will let you do!!
The coaches WILL NOTICE!
My son is only 13 (in January). He is 6'2" and 190 lbs. The coaches only wanted him to play Defense until they saw him RUN!!! AND CATCH!!! He runs like a Mack Truck with a ball in his hands and knocks down any player on the other team that has the ball!!
I know Jr. High is different but just show them what you have and you should be all over the field!!!

i doubt highly that you can strictly play OLB and not RB in high school, and then hope to be a RB in college...you will get noticed by college scouts for what you do in high school, so it's hard to imagine not scaring off schools by telling them, "oh by the way, i wanna play halfback not linebacker"

Sure why not? Assuming your team is good. You probaly have good size and strength from playing linebacker and great speed and agility from playing returner. You will have to learn the position a little bit but you could be good.

possible but not likely, u wont get recruited as a halfback u would have to either walk on or tell the people recruiting you your intentions, but yeah u need some serious speed to pull that off

Yes. To play OL or OML, you need to be quick, athletic and strong. The same can be said for halfback. I think it would be an easy transition.
