I'm sorry but its bothering me why people are even thinking this
It makes no sense to me

He Dosen't have the Best Stats (Dude From Hawaii out did everyone)(WITH LESS)
He hasn't Won the Most Games (Troy Smith)
He folds in Big games

There are plenty of players that have performed better than him (Ian Johnson, Steve Slaton, Pat White, Garrett Wolf, Ray Rice...)

The Heisman Shouldn't be about who you think is or will be better
but who has Performed better

If Ohio State and Michigan win their bowls (both will likely be favored), they will probably finish 1 and 2 in the final rankings. But Wisconsin is currently ranked 6. If they beat Arkansas (should be a good game) they could move up. Of course, the only way they'll climb all the way to 3 is if ND gets more than its usual share of "lucky" calls against LSU. But it is a possibility. Has any conference ever finished 1-2-3 in the final poll?

We all know Troy Smith will win the Heisman, but is he really the best college football player? In my mind, absolutely not. He has had the hype all year and just didn't make any big mistakes. But had he came in the season as a noname would he be looked at as a great QB? Just look at the talent around him. He didn't have to make many plays. He should give Ted Ginn Jr. and Gonzalez a share of the trophy because they made all the plays. Who do you guys think is the best college football player? Personally, I would have to say McFadden or Slaton.

WAC, MWC, MAC, CUSA, and Sun Belt. Resist the temptation to include the Big East. List them roughly in order.
