Originally, Pat Summerall was my fave.
Then it was Al Michaels.
I have to admit, I loved Mike Patrick on MNF.

I guess now its still Al Michaels.
I HATE Tony Kornheiser and the rest of the ESPN crew theyve got now.

I'll be out of town on Christmas Eve; the folks I'm staying with have Direct TV but no Sunday Ticket. I want to watch the NFL games there - is there an option to buy it just for one game, one day, or even one week? If so, no technician actually has to go to their home, right? Thanks!

Sounds psycho, I know! My husband recently had a photo taken with Brady Quinn (quarterback for NotreDame who will be going pro next year) as well as a photo with AJ Hawk (a Green Bay Packers player) and he thought it would be cool to get them signed. Well, I thought it might be a nice gift for him for Christmas.. I do know that there's a lot of fan clubs where you can send photos and they'll send a signed photo back to you, but I don't even know where to begin to look. The only thing I found was a place where I could "buy" the addresses... and I really don't want to do that. Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

Mine would have to be the 86 Giants.
With some of the greatest linebackers ever (Lawrence Taylor, Harry Carson, Carl Banks, Pepper Johnson) and a dominant defense The GEEEEEEEEE MEN won their first Super Bowl
39-20 over The Broncos.

Phil Simms became an overnight sensation by going 22-25 for 261 yards and 3TD's. I miss those days.

2nd all time team- 1973 Vikings. Although I'm a Giants fan I absolutely loved the late 60's and early 70's Vikings teams. Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, Alan Page, Paul Krause, Fran Tarkenton, Chuck Foreman, Sammy White, Oscar Reed, John Gilliam, Stu Voigt etc. A bunch of great players that played together for many, many years. I wish they could've won, one of the super bowls they played in.

Since 1977, the NFL has moved to or added 7 new cities into the fold:
Arizona (Phoenix) Cardinals
Carolina (Charlotte) Panthers
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
Seattle Seahawks
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tennessee (Nashville) Titans

I do realize that on and off field success are not mutually exclusive, but...on field success aside, which franchise has been the most successful?

Think I know the flip side will be easier, but can we agree on who the worst is?

Before anyone asks, Baltimore, Cleveland, Houston, Oakland and St. Louis all had teams prior to '77...just not (Raiders & Browns excluded) the one that resides there now, so they aren't included.

You've seen the commercial for the Hiesman award...the trophy is in the back of a truck, being chased across the desert or NYC by various team mascots....you've got Sooners, Seminols, Cowboys, Bulldogs, and all of that.....here's the question: In amoungst all these masots is a big bounding boulder. What school is a big bounding boulder?

it seems like in everyone presseason polls for the last couple of years these two teams especially the Panthers are considered an ELite team, and year after year they disappoint. the panthers to me only have to guys, one on offense and one on defense, which is Smith and Peppers. it takes more than just one or two players to win a game. havent we learned anything from the Pats or the Spurs.its a team effort. sure maybe they can win a few games against mediocre teams and not mentioning that those two players i named have to preform great every week in and week out for them to even have a chance.
