I'll be out of town on Christmas Eve; the folks I'm staying with have Direct TV but no Sunday Ticket. I want to watch the NFL games there - is there an option to buy it just for one game, one day, or even one week? If so, no technician actually has to go to their home, right? Thanks!

A few years ago, the NHL tried this, and it was a flop with lots of negative backlash from the fans. I would never expect the NFL to go to Pay Per View, but I would not be surprised to see them put a playoff game on the NFL Network. That would be annoying enough because I can't receive the NFL Network due to the greedy fight between Charter and the NFL. Would I pay to watch the NFL playoffs??? It depends on the cost. Chances are that I would, because I enjoy the NFL.

NFL Sunday Ticket games are available on a PPV basis for $39.99 per game. Order through your remote, online, or phone.

Don't need to subscribe to the entire package to get one game, but I'm guessing the trappings (Red Zone) won't be available.

You have to buy the whole season. If you have it at home, take your box with you.
Burger King was giving away free trials of Sunday Ticket when you bought a burger, but I think that is over now.
