Seriously, they do a segment on him on just about EVERY NFL Live show, and most Sportscenter shows? Why do they think we care about his birthday or if he listens to Parcell's speaches? Do they not realize that people watch this crap only because they won't shut up about it?

Let's start off with his height, he's listed at 6'1 which is undersized but is going to measure up to 5'11. How many QBs in the NFL that start and go in the 1st round are 5'11?

Then you would throw out the argument that he has tall OL but guess what? He does not run a pro-style offense which makes his height much more crazy. You won't win in the NFL out of the Shotgun every year or through 4-5 WR sets.

Now let's go to his deep-ball strength. He has no deep-ball accuracy nor strength whatsoever. I've seen Ted Ginn slow down countless times in order to try and catch a lameduck by Smith. He won't throw for many yards in the NFL with that arm of his.

Now some of you are acting like Smith is this amazing athlete which he is not. Vick, Vince Young, Seneca Wallace, etc. all ran in the 4.3-4.4 range which is freakishly fast. Smith runs around a 4.7 which is not bad but hardly faster than Brady Quinn.

Just wondering, why do people actually think that?

I'm about 15 yrs, 5 foot 9, 135 pounds, and want to try out for football. I'm a pretty fast runner and good jumper. The only problems are that: 1, football is crazy competitive at my school (if you watch NFL countdown, they talked about us because Nick Mangold's little sister is on the offensive line), and 2, my parents want me to do marching band(again). The only other problem I have is that I am not good at catching passes because I used to have a lazy eye when I was younger which led to stunted hand-eye coordination growth. I hate band and never actually wanted to do it (parents made me), and I've been wanting to play football since I was 11. I'm positive that, since football is what I want to do more than anything, I could stay with it and work up from where I am. Do you think I should give it a shot and if so, what position should I play?

Do you think that Grossman should be benched and then put in Greessy? Why or why not? I believe Grossman is not performing so they should take him out and give Greesy a try. They should see if he provides better results then Grossmen. They have nothing to lose. If they wait later, then he won't have as much time to practice. I don't think he should be put in play offs at all.

With P. Manning's playoff breakdowns, the Patriots without their coordinators, and the ravens non-existent offense, can the chargers take the mighty AFC? if the Chargers can take the Patriots, they have the SB. With LT on fire all season long, they have a pretty good chance. Can they do it?
