I'm sorry but its bothering me why people are even thinking this
It makes no sense to me

He Dosen't have the Best Stats (Dude From Hawaii out did everyone)(WITH LESS)
He hasn't Won the Most Games (Troy Smith)
He folds in Big games

There are plenty of players that have performed better than him (Ian Johnson, Steve Slaton, Pat White, Garrett Wolf, Ray Rice...)

The Heisman Shouldn't be about who you think is or will be better
but who has Performed better

He is only going because he played for the Irish. If he played for some team like say ... Hawaii he wouldn't even be considered. Heck if hypothetically if a team like Hawaii had Notre Dame's schedule and beat all the chumps they beat and lost to USC and Michigan the way Notre Dame did they would not even be close to touching the top 25 let alone a BCS bid. Brady Quinn is the most overrated player on the most overrated team in the country. Him even going to the Heisman presentation is a mockery of what the trophy stands for. If I was Smith I would not accept the trophy until Quinn left the building. (Not really ... well maybe)

Brady Quinn is definetly a joke for Heisman. He will have an NFL career but Troy Smith outplayed him. Actually, Slaton, Johnson Rice, Wolf, and Colt Brennan played better. But of course he is part of the Fighting Irish, so of course he will be there.

Troy Smith's name has been engraved on that trophy since about mid-October.

Quinn shouldn't even finish second in the voting.

I agree with you. He is only in contention because he plays for Notre Dame. At least we know for a fact that he isn't going to win.
