Ray Lewis Out of Order in McNair's Case
Future Hall of Famer Erroneously Played Race Card
By JASON WHITLOCK

. Ray Lewis forgot the golden rule when it comes playing the race card: You lose the right to play it once an NFL franchise and the league stands by you when you face murder charges.

I like Ray Lewis – on the football field. As a spokesman for social justice, Ray Ray needs to sit in the back of the limo and keep his mouth shut.

Lewis’ rant suggesting that the Titans wouldn’t have treated white NFL superstar quarterbacks – Peyton Manning and Brett Favre – the way the organization treated Steve McNair is Exhibit A in why today’s filthy rich athlete has zero business trying to mimic Jim Brown, Muhammad Ali or John Carlos.

Ray doesn’t realize had Tony Siragusa stood trial for murder, the Baltimore Ravens likely would’ve cut ties with the overweight nose tackle.

Your thoughts on racism and the NFL...Fact or fiction?

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Nov. 15, 2006) -- Troy Aikman said Sunday he is "fifty-fifty" about whether or not he will end his retirement and play next season.

The former Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback called a report about a possible comeback "speculation," Then, minutes later, he added, "It's something I've been thinking about all season."

ESPN.com recently found out that Aikman told ESPN's Ron Jaworski that he would be interested in returning to the NFL next season but only if he could work with Joe Gibbs in Washington.

Aikman led Dallas to three Super Bowl titles in a 12 seasons before retiring in April 2001. He was a first ballot Hall of Fame selection this year.

"I have said all along it's not something I have closed the door on," Aikman said. "If the right situation presented itself with the right offensive system, one that I believed in -- and Joe's is one I believe in -- then I would certainly consider it."

Joe Gibbs would not comment on this story.

Let's say Michigan barely loses this weekend and that USC, Florida, and Notre Dame all win. Do you keep Michigan at #2 or how far would you drop them?

Wisconsin has been underrated all year long. It's time for some respek! But, Brent Musburger did give them props during a telecast on Saturday. He mentioned that Michigan squeking by wisconsin in the fourth quarter earlier in the year was Michigan's most impressive win by far. All wisconsin can do i guess is to just win their last game vs. Buffalo and win that Bowl Game once again. They had to destroy Auburn last year to get their point across. MAYBE we will see a top five ranking.

Texas was ranked 2 when Ohio State beat them. Now Texas is ranked 13. So, who has Ohio State beaten? The second best team they've beaten is Penn State. The third best is Iowa (2-5 in the big ten). NO OTHER TEAMS THEY'VE BEATEN HAVE WINNING RECORDS!!!
