Case in point the coverage of Superbowl XXXVIIII.......Nobody gave a good damn about the Patriots having a chance to become an NFL dynasty. It was just "Is T.O. gonna play"? That helped feed his ego, especially since he did play and did pretty decent. Though the Pats won, it really irked me that this guy was being spoonfed praise from the media...And look at what he's turned into the seasons after.

I blame the media for T.O being how he is. Granted he's an adult, I blame them just as much as I blame him for being an emotional cancer.

I think it the caption on the postrer was something like Texas Thunder. Does anyone else remember this poster? And does anyone know whre I might find a re-print of it? I grew up in Chicago so I have no idea why I had this poster. I do remember there was lightening and cow skulls, and that I didn't really like the poster. My parents seem to have no recollection of me having this poster. However, I'm sure I had it. Any help is appreciated.

What the hell is up with this "in the grasp" rule? I've never seen this one before last night. Roethlisberger fumbled twice in last nights game (1 questionable, 1 obvious). The whistle never blew on either one, both were recovered by the Chargers, both were given back to Pittsburgh with no challenge allowed. Stupid rule? or fair? Should this be challengable?

Has anyone else noticed how earholes in football helmets are no longer round? When did this change take place? Some teams still have the round earholes, but others have odd triangular-shaped holes. Is there a benefit to having different shaped earholes? Am I the only one who has noticed this?

Who else sees a high potential for another super bowl shuffle? Is it gonna be another 1985 bears year? Do you think they are better, just as good, or worse than the 1985 bears? Packers fans need not respond i really dont value anything those people say that also goes for dallas and carolina fans.

I was curious why the band's warm-up session before the football game was called a "skull session". Do other school's marching bands call it the same thing? Or is this just an OSU thing?

Thanks!

I was watching college football yesterday and noticed that alot of the players were wearing armbands just above the elbow. They didn't look, to me, to serve any real purpose other than, maybe, making their muscles look bigger. Is there a real reason or function for these bands? Not everyone had them on so I know it's not a required part of the uniform. What's the deal?
