Should we put so much trust in one person who can get injured on the field and off the field and destroy a season, a dynasty or better a city. Should Professional Football rules protect the quarterback more? What is the criteria that should be used to determine that QB shouldn't play? 10 concussions, appendectomy, motor cycle accident, bent fingers, throwing up and punch repeatedly in the stomach. You don't see pitchers getting beat up in baseball, then why allow it in football? (www.sportsmavericks.com)

the colts are 7-0 and the pats are 6-1...

i think the patriots are going to end there streak because there running game will be a downfall for the colts defense allowing 177(estimation) rushing yards.

In case you haven't heard, Sports Illustrated surveyed the NFL players to see who they thought was the most overrated player in the NFL. Brian Urlacher was voted second to TO. What do you think?

The SEC is jam packed with solid teams. Just b/c one goes to the SEC championship doesn't mean there the best team.

Think about it. And be objective people!!!
Is there really a huge difference between these teams?
Look at the numbers between Rex Grossman and Eli Manning:
~ Eli Manning NYG 1672 233 143 14 8 50 88.9
~ Rex Grossman CHI 1639 218 130 13 7 62 89.6

The defenses are very similar, and both have held their opponents to small numbers the last few games.
Damn, this is gonna be a good one!!

I know they have pretty much shot this down many times but I think there is so big of a case for a playoff system. What if Michigan and Ohio state are the true #1 and #2 this year, one of them has to lose when they play each other during the regular season and that rules them out of the National Title game and what about the rest of the teams that remain undefeated? Maybe just a 4 team title tournament?

Michigan hasnt done any thing but blow out notre dame. and there only winning by 7-14 points, they barely beat penn state and northwestern. then they jumped to # 2 over usc, louisville and west virginia? thats the biggest joke i've ever heard. wisconsin should of beat them and wisconsin is a better team. I know no one is gonna agree with me but indiana will beat michigan and so will ohio state. and they will both prove michigan is over rated.

The "goal" of the BCS is to have #1 play #2.

Let's say Ohio State beats Michigan by failed 2 point conversion in triple OT.

In my opinion, the BCS Championship should be Michigan vs. OSU in a rematch. If you are #2 in the country for a month like Michigan would be and lose to #1 team, that would still make you #2. A real playoff would make this easier. Thoughts?

If vick passes like he has the last two games for the rest of the season, i feel he will be completely unstoppable. I mean no one could stop this team, not the bears, colts, giants, patriots, nobody. Anyone else think so.

(APOO) Fans of the University of Southern California football team, the "Troglojens", face mass hysteria, and possibly years of bi-weekly visits to local psychiatrists, after team suffers another loss.
"Uh, we've not seen this type of screaming idiocy, recently displayed by these emotional cripples, since the recent energy brown-outs, when southern Califorians had to physicall fan themselves, using brain cells they'd not used in over a decade", a knowledgeable dude stated.
