This isn't a fantasy question, and Tony Gonzalez is washed up.

The only member of the Pats worth starting in fantasy leagues is probably Brady. As another poster stated...the ball is spread around so much...it is anyone's guess who will put up the best numbers on a given day. I have owned and started a few players from the Pats at times in the past...and have come to the conclusion that it is just not worth it. A line of 7 receptions, 90 yards, and 2 TD's one week and 1 reception, 12 yards, and 0 TD's the next. You simply cannot rely on anyone besides Brady in your starting lineup.

He's probably close to, but not quite in the top ten. Gates is the best out there, but then you have Shockey, Winslow, Davis, Gonzalez (although not as good as he used to be), and other very good tight ends. Plus, the Patriots spread the ball around, so there's a good chance that next week he won't do anything.

The guy is a beast physically but with their multi-tiered offense, he only gets a moderate amount of catches. He can run well and is strong after the catch but this year the team is running more and also spreads the wealth and passes to other players to keep the defense honest.
