I am in 7th grade and this is my first year in football. I already know I'm going to play at least one game because my family wants to see me play. But I think after the first few games I should quit because I think it's a waist of my time. By the time a few games are done it's october when i need to make money and get ready for halloween. Plus I didn't try my hardest in the 3 "hell week" practices so I don't think I'll get a good position. Thank you

My son has a theory on why football is so popular. The same thing that critics complain about with the run a play wait 30 seconds run a play wait 30 seconds is what makes it seem that much better. His theory is the reason that football is so beloved and popular is the time between plays allows for an artificial suspense to be created that makes the game seem even more exciting, like if you know the next play is 3rd and 5 and if your team gets the yards or makes the stop the drive continues/stops or if your team gets a stop here its a huge swing they dont get the TD or if we get the TD the momentum is back on our side kind of thing. So for people that like football the 30 seconds between plays give time for different scenarios to have an artificial suspense created for the viewer, its like when you go to a haunted house or scary movie knowing that the scary object is coming up and getting your adrenaline rushing makes it more exciting and fun and its the same in football.

I say Emmitt because whenever you got inside the 10 yard line ,"Touchdown". Also you could control the clock whenever you got a lead in the second half. Many say that Emmitt pl;ayed on a better team. Thats true, but he attained all you could accomplish playing on a great team.

they spend most of the time throwing and running about with the ball, oh yeah and now and again on comes someone and kicks it so its not played predomantly with the feet. plus of course its a game played by hyped up cowards so scared of getting hurt they clad thereselves head to toe in poncy padding, rugby is a much tougher ,physical game but its played by real men who dont want or dont need to wear reams of body armour, i would love to see one of these faggoty yank er football teams play against one of our top rugby teams (league or union) unpadded then they would really know what a real tough game is all about, and the reason they dont is they know they would get battered to bits , and they couldnt handle that. so it must remain a queers game i suppose and wrongly named of course... agree or disagree

last year the bears went 11-5 it woulda been 12-4 but they benched their starters the last game of the season, but no one thinks theyll make the playoffs, they had the BEST defense in the league last year, since the 85 bears, and their offense sucked but with that defense and awesome special teams how could you think they wont make it??? so even if your not a bears fan do you think yes or no, that theyll make the playoffs?
