Texas against a good Ohio State team.
Tipping points are:
1) Playing at Texas will still be 90 at night.
2) Most everyone came back from a fast Texas D
3) Offensive line, backs and receivers are very good need only serviceable quarterback.

I love this matchup, because these two teams are so dynamic on both sides of the ball. I will say Texas for the win, but I'll start with Ohio State.
I like what they [Ohio State] did yesterday on offense, it was clean execution, very few mistakes.
The passing game from Smith was key to that win, he's an excellent leader and the clear #2 behind Brady Quinn for the heisman. He is going to shine against Texas.
Their defense also surprised me. I had thought because they were returning so few starters they would collapse, but their defense tightened up when it had to and really made a huge impression on the college football world.
Texas, however, seems to have everything in place. Their starting QB looks to post some impressive numbers against a defense that is technically soft at the Linebacking corps, and their safeties may have some trouble keep the Texas passing game down.
Also, the Texas QB can really hustle when he needs to, so if their linebackers don't step up big time, Texas is going to tear them apart.
The big story here is Texas's defense. Now, without Dynamic QB Vince Young, the defense takes the limelight for the Longhorns, and returning most of their starters, they should make some huge plays against a very sound passer.
My Prediction: Texas: 24, Ohio State: 17

I'm from Ohio and I know the Buckeye's are going to win. Let's not compare the scores from last week, C'mon look who Texas played. Texas has a new QB which is a freshman, CHOKE! Not only do you have to worry about Troy Smith, but you have to worry about Gonzo and Ginn. The Bucks also have a good running game with Pittman and the two Wells.
O-H-I-O!!!

Ohio State all the way!! Let me quote Jim Tressell's statement on defense. "We are not rebuilding, just re-loading" Our defense has a lot of great guys with a lot to prove. Whoever the idiot was that said we will only win because of Troy Smith, go back to school, moron. Yes, Troy Smith is great, I think the best in NCAA right now, but our whole damn team is great. I do believe that this will be the game of the year. Texas is good, just not good enough. I will say this, it sure won't be as easy beating Texas as it will whooping on the Wolverines. WOLVERINES- GO BLOW!! YOU SUCK!!!!

I think Ohio State will win. Troy Smith is good and their defence isn't all that bad with only 2 returning.
