I am in 7th grade and this is my first year in football. I already know I'm going to play at least one game because my family wants to see me play. But I think after the first few games I should quit because I think it's a waist of my time. By the time a few games are done it's october when i need to make money and get ready for halloween. Plus I didn't try my hardest in the 3 "hell week" practices so I don't think I'll get a good position. Thank you

Its not about you it is about the good of the team there might be someone who might be one of the best players that want to quit to but if you show them that you are there and you not going to quit then they'll see that and that can turn into team work You could help someone and yourself ride it out and don't be afraid to ask ? to get better your team is there to help you and you are there to help them. Waist of time nothing is a waist of time if you learn something. They make money everyday and Halloween comes every year. But what you could learn by staying and giving 100% you more than you know.

A good life lesson is to never quit and to give it every thing you got no matter what it is. You have to change your attitude or you will be wanting to quit everything you do in life and that's just not good. You have to fight hard and have desire as that is what true winners do in life and in football too! Anyone can quit but it takes a man to stick things out especially when the going gets tough.

Hi,,, well,,, I am not going to try to talk you out of it,,, I also did not play that well in jr high,,,i was a butterball,,,, but it is the part of being together with a group of your buddies trying to work together,,, Team work....camraderie,,and Esprit de corps,,,, and you will be proud of what you accomplish in the end,,,,

I went on and later when i graduated from high school there were 11 of us boys that had played together in a 2 yr period,, that played in a college program somewhere,,,, and we were a very small school......

Good luck......

If you quit football...you'll quit anything in life...
you'll quit school, you'll quit work, you'll quit yourself.

You started this.
Finish the season.

Try hard...play hard...work hard...

then if you want to be a quitter...when the season is over...
do your team mates - those that are counting on you -
a favor
and quit.

If your only as strong as the weakest link...and the weakest link is a quitter...better to have you go away after the season is over...

if your not serious about playing then you probably have little reason to be on the field and will probably let your team down maybe its best to give up your position and allow someone else that really wants to play be out there

Listen, if you're worried about getting "ready" for Halloween, you have worse problems rather than football

You should have not even tried out for the team if your heart isn't in it. The way you feel. I think that it would probably be best if you did quit.
