why not just switch it so that in england for example when you say soccer you mean american football and when you say football you mean football? when you come to the states all you have to do is take the oppoosite into account...

If you were going on a date with a girl and she said she would rather stay at home and watch a football game. I would probably rather watch a big football game than go out on a date. Would that be a turn on?

Sometimes in football I see a member of the punting team catch a punt in the air over the endzone and, while still in the air, throw it out of the endzone to prevent a touchback. Why isn't this considered downing the ball, considering the punting team is touching the ball before the returning team? Thanks.

Putting a lot of money on the line in this game, line changed dramatically when big Ben went down. Are the Phins gonna win now?

FSU or Miami?
Will it be the sheer desire of the Seminoles? Or will the boys from "The U" hold down home field and continue dominance for the Canes?
Who will win, why and the closest score (before the game starts, in 7 hours) will get the 10pt bonus.

I'm a bit confused. I'm a huge football fan- although I prefer college- My dad told me there was no more Monday Night Football and that Al Michaels and John Madden were moving to Sunday Night. Then I saw an ad for Monday Night Football on ESPN. But tonight there is a college game on ESPN during the normal MNF slot. My assumption is that the 5 years of ABCs MNF were up and it has switched to ESPN but MIchaels and Madden still have contracts with ABC. I also presume real MNF starts next week on ESPN. Is that right?? And do you know who the announcers are going to be? (maybe I'll be able to watch this year - I can't stand Madden)
