Putting a lot of money on the line in this game, line changed dramatically when big Ben went down. Are the Phins gonna win now?

I'm taking Miami actually. Miami was able to role quite well against Carolina's defense in the 3rd preseason (with every starter in still)...and Pittsburgh isn't much different on defense. Miami's defense has been a work in progress over past seasons and I think it's finally good enough to strike gold for a playoff season. But it's the first game of the season and will be a little sloppy still...

With Daunte Culpepper and Chris Chambers playing together in Miami, and no Big Ben, the dolphins will come away with a victory.
They have an incredible defensive end in jason taylor, and the Steelers backup (Charlie Batch) isn't that fast on his feet.

The Steelers are at home but without a threat at QB. It's likely to be a close game with the Dolphins winning. Charlie Batch is not going to get the job done. Hines Ward has had hamstring problems, so will he play Thursday?

The Steelers have more than just Big Ben on their side. They have an arsenal of great wide receivers, a strong offensive line, and fast Willie Parker. Their defense isn't that bad either. I think they will win easily even with Charlie Batch.

Nope. Batch is 2-0 as a Steeler starter. He only lost alot in Detroit because the Lions suck.
