Yes, he's going to do just fine. For one thing, he has Lee Evans to throw to. If you haven't heard of Lee Evans, you don't follow football very closely. Outside of him, Robert Royal has shown very impressive hands in the camps and preseason, and there's little reason to believe that won't continue. McGahee will also be more involved in the passing game.
When it comes down to it, I believe JP will make strides this year. Steve Fairchild and Turk Schonert broke down his footwork and fixed it(he was getting back too fast and not setting his feet properly), and it shows in his preseason stats. So yes, his performance does prove something....it proves he's headed towards being the starting-calibre QB he's physically capable of being.
However, Buffalo's success doesn't rest on his shoulders. It rests firmly on the oline...and, lemme tell you, outside of Duke Preston, our depth is pretty scary. If some one on the oline goes down, we're basically screwed unless some one steps up big time.

I don't think anyone outside the Buffalo area cares. A breakout season for Losman would be 6 wins, that will get you nowhere in the NFL.

Nope, he doesn't have anybody to throw the ball to. Peerless Price is a number 2 WR, not a number 1.
