I know that miami was the defending champion, and that the game was televised, that flutie was in the heisman trophy running, and that later that season boston college would go on to win the cotton bowl.
But as far as that particular game, why is it thought of as so momentus a game aside from that spectacular play? Did it send boston college to a bowl game? Was a win in that game vital for any particular reason? Maybe coming in first in their division was on the line? anyone know?

I have been a Steelers fan since 2003, and I love Troy Polamalu. He seems like a sweet guy off the field.

I can understand smaller colleges not customizing the jerseys for $ reasons, but why do big schools like Nortre Dame and USC not have names on their jerseys?

AND SIDE QUESTION: What school is Cal? I don't know college football so that's very vauge to me (there's U Southern Cal, or U Cal Los Angelas---but just Cal?)

I saw Jim Brown's biography and he had a huge melon. I met Paul Hornung same thing big head. The best player on my high school team had a giant head. I worked with a guy that made it to the NFL, another big melon.
