1. Ohio State- they looked great on offense and good on defense. They also did nothing that should make them lose position.
2. Texas- Excellent game they appear to have replaced Young
Besides if they are ranked #2 that pits 1 vs 2 next saturday what a game that will be
3. USC-they have so many weapons and the only teams on their schedule that have a chance to beat them (Cal, ND) did not look that great on Saturday
4. Notre Dame- this media darling wont make it past September without a loss. Penn St, Mich, Mich St, Purdue make Septemeber a tough month for any team

1. OSU (Great offense, great defense. Smith and Ginn are incredible
2. Texas (nice playing by the new QB, legit shot at a repeat)
3. Notre Dame (barely survived a scare by GT, that was terrible) Still love Notre Dame and I know they will play much better but as of right now I leave them at 3
4. USC (solid all around team, but I believe these 3 teams have them beat, but thats only after playing one game so far)

Ohio State-great game both offensively and defensively
Texas- good game from mccoy, have a chance to beat OSU in next week's game, Mccoy also has some mobility for a QB)
Notre Dame- questionable after the georgia tech game they played horribly, they barely won
USC- ok

USC
TEXAS
OHIO STATE
NOTRE DAME
SAME AS THE LAST 3 YEARS, NO PARTIALITY, EVEN THOUGH I'M FROM L.A...ITS OBVIOUS ANYTIME A PROGRAM CAN PRODUCE A HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER, AND DEFEND BACK TO BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS...WHO BELONGS NUMBER ONE...AND TEXAS PLAYED A NOBODY YESTERDAY, OHIO STATE HAS YET TO TRULY ESTABLISH ITS DOMINANCE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE A POWERHOUSE PROGRAM, AND NOTRE DAME HAS A HISTORY OF RUNNING OUT OF MOMENTUM LATE IN IMPORTANT GAMES.
