regardless of whether they score, the other team then gets the ball and has a chance to score.

BUT in NFL play when the winner of the toss gets the ball, and if they score, the game is over; without the loser of the toss ever having a chance to get the ball.

Is this fair? It seems that sometimes the out come of the game is decided by a "coin toss".

The college method is more fair, I think.

Might I add that no other WR can play the long and short pass, physically built as he is along with his blazing speed. Complain all you want about off the field. I want to know about on the field. Who would you like to throw to against a very good defense. Who can turn a hitch into a TD, and abuse corners.
