Fantasy Sports - September 2007

Thomas Jones against Buffalo or Marshawn Lynch against the jets. They are playing agaisnt each other, if you haven't been following him this year, Lynch has more fantasy points then Jones and is running the ball hard. He is very good. Buffalo though has the worst rushing defense in the nfl and the jets have are ranked 21st I think.

On my fantasy football team I have QB Brees, RB Tomlinson, and WR Evans, thanks to the fact that my league has IDP I am still 2 wins and 1 lose at this point, but if Brees doesnt turn it around I will be in trouble. My back ups are Grossman, Griese, and Harrington. Do you think Brees will turn it around or am I in for a long season and should I try to trade him while I can.

i have too many qb and our league states i need to drop two.

shaub and garrard are my starters so the 3rd isnt that big of a deal but who will be the better of the 3? however Garrard has a bye this week

i think Griese is worth a shot but do you think i should stick with pennington who has thrown a few multi td games this year or have faith in leinart who may play better knowing that warner can be on his heels?

btw i love Griese matchup against the lions

I have a trade offer where I give up Portis and Nate Burleson for Larry Johnson and Santana Moss- does this make sense for me in a PPR league? I realize Portis is off to a fast start and LJ is not, but I'm thinking over the course of the season LJ may outlast/outperform Portis. Plus, Burleson will be out of the starting lineup once Hackett comes back...

Should i drop De angelo Williams or Chester Taylor ( I agree he is a bit banged up and Peterson is a bawler) But who has more upside, Foster seems to be the goal line back in Carolina. But who knows how Chester will work in the system when he gets back. From what i have seen Lendale White even guys like Sammy Morris have had Tds in back to back games and seem to get the goal line carries. What do you think?

Just found out that Deuce McAllister is out for the season and looking at my RB depth, in which I have left is LT, Fred Taylor, and Sammy Morris. In our league, any free agent or waiver transaction can be made at any time. The proud owner of S. Jackson, who missed out on Brian Leonard, is saying that almost every other league uses a delay. So that the free agency and waiver wire is essentially frozen Sunday and Monday and you cannot pick up anyone until Tuesday (he actually recommended no free agents and no pickups until Thursday.)

I was just wondering if most leagues are a free for all like we are, or if the majority use some sort of Sunday/Monday restrictions.
