I'm not sure if anyone remembers this, but SI had an issue in the 1990's that listed the mosted over and underrated players. The had Michael Jordan as the most overrated. I mean, come on. He's the greatest player ever and the called him overrated. The same with Manning. He will go down as arguably the best QB in history. It's just someones way of creating controversy.

Must be the same drugs that Chicago ownership and Lovie Smith's on by staying with Gross-man as their starter or so long.(must be Roid Rage)

How can he be overrated when he has put up the same consistency year after year ( 7yrs of over 4,000 yrds, 25+ TD's all 9yrs, 100+ QB rating over last 3yrs, and over 60% completion rate for all but his rookie year(56.7%). Not to mention Super Bowl MVP. All this done with 3 different running back too.

So I agree on how can he be overrated as the best QB. Maybe not ever but he's getting there. I'll take him on any team with 2min left and down by 10. Only Elway can match that.

fantasy-wise Manning is overrated, take a look at some of the points from last season or this season... rarely does Manning go over 24 points. McNabb and Brady on the other hand, they put up #'s.
