VVS.Lakshman is definitely one of the great batsmen of the Indian cricket. But time and again he is ignored and humiliated. Does he need a god father or what? He proved his class in several matches. For instance, he scored a double century against Australia in a very crucial moment and won the test match for India. He should have been picked up in the playing 11 aganist Bangladesh in place of either Jaffer or Karthik.

India is a nation of 100 crore population. Is it not bewildering that we don't have a great, wicket taking fast bowler? I think it is high time the BCCI officials go on a hunt to find the bowling talent across the country. It should be done wholeheartedly.

In my opinion jagmohan dalmia managed cricket better than the sharad pawar. he only made mistake of sticking with saurav too much. What do you feel?

In the 2nd Test between India VS Bangladesh at Dhaka, Jaffer,Karthik,Dravid & Sachin scored total 408 runs for the 1st wicket on 25th & 26th May 2007. This is not a record but 1st wicket partnership was 413 runs scored by Vinoo Mankad & Pankaj Roy for India Against Newzeland in 1956(I think).

Well it's Saturday morning and again England are continuing to pile on the runs.Being a cricket fan since the mid 70s,when West Indies were the best side ever,it got me thinking again, why are they in such sharp decline?
One time they had a whole conveyor belt of wonderful fast bowlers and there was a time when just Barbados alone would have beaten England.Now their bowling is as lethal as park cricket.So what do you think is the reason(s) for their decline from top dogs to one of the worst test playing sides?
