When you call a partnership, it will be the runs scored between two individual players. Since the 408 runs were scored between 4 individual players for the loss of one wicket, it cannot be considered for the partnership for the first wicket.

Yes It will be a record for the I wicket but shared by four batsmen.
At the same time 413 run partnership will also remain a record partnership between two players for I wkt..

The runs scored by all the four batsmen put together is considered as runs for the first wicket. It is no matter whether the runs were scored by two batsmen or more than two, so long as the batsmen were not legally(as per the laws of the game) declared out, their contributions would count for that wicket.

It would never work. Players would become mercenary and cricket boards would never be able to sustain it. Also, it would start to affect the cricket boards. I mean if players were on incentive wages then the boards would probably have to go that way as well. However, some cricket boards are in disarray and are quite poor as it is anyway, meaning that under-performing teams would see less incentive to carry on (because they're sustained by the money they receive in handouts and wouldn't get as much if they weren't winning) and some players would have hardly enough to live on, epsecially if they had a major slump in form.

Yah its counted as the partnesrship for 1st wicket.
If they scored 6 runs more they would have broken the record.
You can't say anything this is the first instance a partnership shared by 4 is happening in test cricket.

408 runs for 1 wkt. clearly indicates that one wicket only is lost. 4 players have contributed to the total score of 408 runs, but only one wkt. is lost. One player is in pavilion , but he is not given out, hence he can resume playing. TWO PLAYERS ARE IN PARTNERSHIP.
Partnership means runs scored between two players , that is the sum total of runs scored by two individual batsmen, when they were in the crease together. Since 408 runs were not scored by two batsmen alone, it can not be considered as partnership but as total runs scored for the number wickets lost at that point of time. in this case it is for one wkt. Is this clear ?
