Yes you are right. The difference between Dalmia and Sharad Pawar is the former is not a Union Minister while the latter is and in the matter of devoting time for board matters, the board would have been a better choice.

Jagmohan Dalmia was defenitely a better cricket administrator as compared to Sharad Pawar. He was instrumental to make BCCI as one of the richest cricket body in the world.

Pawar is better. You could simply gauge Dalmiya from the fact that he (or his people) leaked Chappell's controversial email when they were about to lose the general elections. Dalmiya while being president did some very unacceptable things while electing R. Mahendra. And if you are talking about money Modi isn't bad either.

ya Dalmia was better in handling BCCI than Mr Powar.
remember he is a politician and see what politicians have did to
Hockey Boxing and importantly football.i think politicians should not be given a chance to interfere in sports bodies.
