Tendulkar is definitely the more talented player and a great entertainer but Saeed Anwar is a better overall player. What good is talent when the player doesnt perform when needed the most? Tendulker will be long remembered after he has retired simply coz he's flashy and a fan favorite. Saeed even though a better over all player and delivers when needed wont be high up in the ranking coz he doesnt show up in the highlight reels as much.

No doubt. That is saeed anwar. The match winner 4 pakistan. The highest innings scorer in odi. Sachin is a good player but he never playd 4 the team. When we expected his perwomance in world cup he cheated all ag srilanka n bangladesh. bt doing well in da test series against bangladesh. so anwar is the best. he had a nice strike rate, average.

Just because Sachin is past his best and struggling for the past two years, you cannot rate Saeed above him.
Overall Sachin is still better than Saeed.
Sachin too has got some memorable knocks.

obviously tendulkar. you can't judge a player by saying that sachin doesn't play good in crucial matches.sachin is far way ahead of anwar.He has played far more memorable knocks than Anwar if u can remember.u can say that he has not played to his potential in past few years but what about the cricket that he has played from 1989 till now. for your question the best answer is to COMPARE THE WORLD CUP MATCH THAT WAS PLAYED BETWEEN IND Vs PAKISTAN IN SOUTH AFRICA. definitely Saeed Anwar is good
if you compare their career till 2000, Sachin made 27 centuries , where 8 of it were against the baby teams, 6 of 27 matches lost
