I need more information on how universities recruit and scout out student-athletes(who play basketball). What do they look for? How are some ways i can contact some scouts? Should I show them some videos and achievements I've recieved? ive already heard of the CPOA organization, and im going to send them my information as soon as possible. Im also planning on joining some leagues and other basketball programs ,such as the AAU, as well as joining other programs that can help me improve my skills/fundementals. PS.Im going to be a junior in the fall, with a 4.5 GPA. I have played basketball since the 4th grade. Basketball is the one sport that im truly passionate about. Im an all around player but i mostly play small foward. I'm 5'9 and im willing to do anything to improve my skill. I plan on obtaining a scholarship through athletics and if not through academics.Any advice, tips, or opinions are welcome. id really appreciate web adresses if you can give any.

If you are a NBA owner would you want to put up with this kind of disruptive behavior?

If you are the other laker players do you want him to stay?
He's basically calling the rest of the team a bunch of losers.

If Kobe thinks he has it bad now, try being a superstar on a team like Minnesota. He thinks he has no supporting cast now, look at what Minnesota management has done to K.G. to ruin a career that could have been one of the best in history. (and Kevin has never cried about it to the media)

He's listed 7'0" 280 lbs. He probably be listed 7-1 in the NBA, but he doesn't appear like 280 lbs to me; he has a David Robinson's body and is more like 265 lbs, what do you all think?

I am a huge Dallas Mavericks fan and I can see that they need much better inside play from the forwards and center. I also see that they need better athletes off the bench. The Mavericks need, more than anything, toughness. The player I would love for them to draft would be Sean Williams from Boston College. He is a behavior problem but I think Avery can help him in this area. I also like forward Glenn Davis of LSU and point guard Dominic James of Marquette. The Mavs draft only in the second round currently, but they have three picks in the second: No. 34, No. 50, No. 60.

Nobody talks about how good he is very often? Does he have potential to carry his team far in the future or just like his game is similar to KG, will he be stuck just like him?

I think the guy from the Raptors has done a decent job of devloping a good young team. Also Chicago did a good job of designing a threating team that will get even more deep once they find a low post presece.

Since we all know what we like, what 3 teams simply lull you to sleep watching them?
1. Spurs (sorry but they are)
2. Pistons (Even Rasheed cannot hype this team up some more)
3. Grizzlies (Nobody watches them and they never make the Sportscenter highlights)

seriously, what happend to the NBA's most storied franchise?, they haven't won a championship since the Larry Bird days, last one was 1986, 21 years ago, 2 years before I was born, & their record for most NBA championships, which is 16, luckily for them hasn't been passed yet, even 21 years. I'm not a Celtic's fan, but it's dissapointing that I still haven't been around to experience the "real Boston Celtic tradition".

What 2 nba players are mostly alike in style of play? Im not talking about stats.

If all the NBA PLAYERS past and present were put in a silloute
while playing. What 2 players would be the most similiar ?

ill use some examples:

Michael Jordan and Dwayne Wadee play the same. Well atleast he is the closest. Remember im not talking about stats, just style.

Tim Duncan and Bill Walton

Pippen and Lebron James, !!
I think Lebron resembles more scottie pippen than Magic or Jordan.

Remember those were just my examples and opinions.

What are yours ?

Is there something wrong with his upper body that he tries to cover up? A lot of the players working out for teams or are training, often train in sleeveless jerseys or without a shirt, but Brewer always has a large t-shirt on..... just wondering why
