If you are a NBA owner would you want to put up with this kind of disruptive behavior?

If you are the other laker players do you want him to stay?
He's basically calling the rest of the team a bunch of losers.

First - no, he will never learn to play well with others because the NBA and society has led him to believe that he is THE superstar and he doesn't have to.

Second - no, that's just asking to destroy your team chemistry, which is way more important than one spoiled superstar. Spurs, anyone?

Third - yes, and no. You want him to stay because he's your best scorer, and your immediate future looks pretty dismal without him. On the other hand, you want him to remove his spoiled rotten rear end from your team and life because he's just sucking out all the oxygen.

He won't be traded - no one can afford him and the Lakers can't afford ANY type of setback.

First of all... Kobe Bryant has been VERY quiet about things that have gone wrong during the first 3 years after Shaq left. If you watched as many Lakers games as I have, you'd realize that when they interview him after the game, most of the time he deflects the praise to his other teammates.

2nd, the reason we are now hearing about Kobe being traded is because he was made a lot of promises my management that they never made good on. Kobe was promised the first season post-Shaq that they would be a championship contender and that management would get the right players to make it work. They consistently made very bad choices. They traded Caron Butler for Kwame Brown, perplexing many Lakers fans. They signed lazy Radmanovic who doesn't put out full effort, and puts his team in bad positions by breaking his contract and going snowboarding during the season, even though his team has been having a problem with injuries. They passed on the opportunity to bring Mr. Triple-Double Jason Kidd last year when they had the chance. There are many examples like this.

He's been waiting now for 4 years for management to make good on their promises. And nothing is getting done.

Nobody wants to be on a team that can't live up to its potential. Especially the number one player in the game. He signed a long-term contract based on these promises, and Jerry Buss never delivered. He's been too busy making bad trades, giving his relatives key positions in management with little experience (like his daughter), and has been too busy trying to avoid drinking and driving charges.

Kobe gets along great with most of the players on the team, especially the ones who work hard like Luke Walton, Ronnie Turiaff, and others who give 110%. He's not saying anyone on the team is a bad player (although he may think so for a couple of them), just that the team as a whole doesn't have the pieces it needs to win.

It's about matchups as much as effort. Jerry Buss and management have not brought the type of players to the team that would make it work.

I think he shows he already can. Any NBA owner would be glad to have him. If I'm other Laker players I'd feel bad because the superstar of my team is unhappy with my play! And they are a bunch of losers.

The other guys on the team ARE a bunch of losers. I worked my a-rse off to be the best at my job and if no one else was willing to work as hard and perform.. I WOULD FEEL THE SAME WAY.

It's worse for a guy who has only a few years left in his career.

Ko-bay sucks. No one wants to play with him. He's going to complain about his team wherever he goes because they're not going to be able to afford him and anyone else that's decent. Ko-bay is a one-man team and you don't win titles that way. Kobe sucks. He needs to just give it up.

Are you surprised an adulterer would occasionally want to change teams?
