I wouldn't have picked it. But I know a man named Thaddeus Maximus who owns a $100 million business. Go figure.

I think Lebron is young....BUT, there's nothing like a strong name! Also, it's his middle name, so good thing his gf made him do that. I think he second son has a good name. Would I name my kid that, probably not, but my kid is going to turn out to be little and nerdy, so that name he would get made fun of. Now, Lebron's kid probably won't be his size but if he's 6' and like 220lbs, I would say Maximus would fit him!

It's just a middle name.. if it wasnt public, nobody would ever know.
Bryce Maximus James is his full name.
Maximus is a awesome name.. Gladiator was a great movie and Maxiums Seriedius Bladieus whatever was awesome!
Although, when I hear "Bryce", I think of a white person.

Actually, he named the first son, his wife named the second. So blame his wife.
But Maximus is just the longer version of the name Max. And there of tons of Max's out there. It's a pretty good name. When you're a kid, Max is cute. And when you're a teenager, you'd be "Mad Max" so no one will mess with you. There's nothing wrong with the name.

I personally think the ITS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.
I don't want other people to stick their nose in when I select a name for my child. Just because he's a public figure doesn't mean that he has to be accountable to the public on what he should name his offsprings.
I don't think Lebron will object to any name you give your child. lets give him a break.

Its normal for celebrities to name their kids wierd. Like One of the Jacksons naming their kid Jermajesty.

Bad idea I think. Its too pompous. What if Maximus decides to be a librarian or something? It wont fit his personality.

actually he said... he wanted to name him Maximus... but his girlfriend wanted to name him Bryce... since he choose his last sons name.... his girlfriend got to choose his first name... but LeBron added Maximus...
i don't see anything wrong with the name... i think its adorable!!
