I think Paxon will pull the trigger.
Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and No 9 draft pick.
Chicagonians will gladly accept that for Kobe.

Ten Reasons Why Bulls Don't Want Kobe

1. They would have to rebuild around him. The team basketball that has brought them this far does not include a ball hog like Kobe.
2. Kobe has a lot of games on those legs. He is not that old but several years of NBA ball starts to take a toll.
3. If Kobe hasn't learned his lesson, the Bulls don't need another Quentin Daly situation with players getting accused of stuff.
4. People in Chicago don't like the dude. He would never get out of MJs shadow.
5. The Lakers aren't giving him away. It would be one thing if he was a free agent begging for a job, but the Lakers want All-Stars.
6. The Bulls don't have All-Stars to give away.
7. They would need a Shaq to go with him.
8. Paxson and Skiles don't want to risk it.
9. Big Salary - The UC is full anyway.
10. He might bring them up a notch but this is not a World Championship scenario.

Well if this happens then Kobe will be playing alongside a dominant center (Wallace) and that's how he won the championships in LA-playing along Shaq. But surely Kobe is not the 'good kid' anymore and that can be a disaster for the bulls who have worked very well for the last 2-3 years to 'build' this very competitive team. They could trade Ben Gordon-if they get Kobe they won't miss him-and i really want to see Heinrich leaving Chicago because i think he is overestimated and he does not offer what he is supposed to.

I hope not. Anyway, i don't care, as long as the Bulls dont give up Deng, the man is one of the best players (and most underrated) in the east. I'd say, if they lose Deng AND another player for ball-hog bryant, they are getting the worst of the deal. If LA wants Deng, Nocioni, and several future picks, Chicago will DIE just like LA did if they take the offer. Kobe is a cancer that slowly kills the team he is on, if not on contact.

Also, aznboi, please remove all objects from your mouth, or make sure your fingers are attached before you start typing. Almost everything you put is impossible to read, and not many people pick that for best answer...Just a heads up to help you get more best answers (not like i'm the best at getting them)

well the Bulls would have to give up, for starters, either Luol Deng or Ben Gordon. And probably Kirk Hinrich, basically the bulls would need to empty their backcourt in order to get Kobe and actually afford his huge contract. They could ship P.J. Brown free of charge because his contract is expiring but I don't see how they could afford Kobe without giving up some of their key players and their contracts.

kobe demands a trade... i hope they just dont lose all the good players from the bulls team if they decide to get him. kobe wants to be traded so he'll have ppl to play good ball with. i hope kobe and the lakers make the BEST choice possible. but i also think th elakers won't be the same EVER without kobe. he is a laker n it'll be weird to see him wearing a red jersey.

he might get traded but not to the bulls more likely to another team from the west. the east just plain sucks and kobe is going to get on a good team because kobe gets what kobe wants
